Viva radio explores the sounds and the scene around Joy Division in Manchester at the end of the 70's. A series of 7 shows under the umbrella Complete Control Radio,  curated by Dan Selzer from Acute Records they cover an incredible amount of JD related ground. Including an insightful interview with some fascinating reminiscenses from CTR associate Jon Savage,writer of the recent Joy Division documentary,  revealing that JD were big Pere Ubu fans. Manicured Noise crop up on one of the mixes, I think that it's the "Influences" stream. Very well worth a good listen..
