We here at CTR love World Of Twist. Like Jeremy Deller we miss them very much indeed. The towering Sons Of The Stage 12" was spun at the Manchester Bar in Barcelona on Saturday to a rapturous reception. They were one of  the greatest.More about that later..

"Manchester International Festival is urgently looking for fans of World of Twist and Happy Mondays to work on the Jeremy Deller commission 'Procession' on the 5th July. MIF want fans to hold and walk with one of two banners which say 'I miss the World of Twist' and 'Your rendering that's scaffolding dangerous'. 'Procession' will be a parade that goes down the length of Deansgate. It will feature approximately 25 elements - all celebrating aspects of Manchester across its 10 boroughs. "
