"Faith" was acclaimed on its original PRE Records release in 1980, its tough Northern backbeat acknowledging a distinct Manchester indebtedness.

It later appeared on the critically acclaimed and still available CTR release "Northern Stories 1978/80".

Lauded NYC producer Pocketknife whittles the track into a totally floor friendly form with his Straight Line Edit, while the original version is on the flip side.

Pocketknife has creatively remixed and re-edited a wide range of artists from folky Joanna Newson through to Feist and Paul Simon. The recent Tambourine Dream 12” drew much critical acclaim.

Causing a real transatlantic stir, he is a musical man of the moment.

Following this there will be another strictly LTD 7" coloured vinyl release featuring a superb Fred Deakin (Lemon Jelly) rework of Moscow 1980 from Northern Stories featuring special original artwork by Fred. Recently played on BBCR1 Rob Da Banks Balearic Special.

It sat very nicely with Freds selection-love that Ian Dury Paul Hardcastle remix ...

He also played some tracks from his ace recently released Nu-Balearic compilation and spoke about Balearic music-a great listen..

The Moscow 1980 Fred Deakin Remix will see the light of day later this year on CTR.
